Richard A. Douthitt, age 73, of Atwater, died Friday, June 4, 2004, at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna. Born Jan. 15, 1931, in Speers, Pa., he was the son of the late Thornton A. and Eva (Gaskill) Douthitt.
Mr. Douthitt was an assembler at General Motors in Lordstown.
Survivors include brothers, Clinton A. Douthitt, Pompano Beach, Fla., Thornton L. (Lena) Douthitt, Atwater; sisters, Gertrude A. (Fred) Martz, Atwater, Sandra Hamlin, Atwater; Jenna Eye and Eye family.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Polozzi.
There will be no calling hours or services. Cremation has taken place, and inurnment will be in Atwater Cemetery.
