Mae R. Camberg, 84, of Altoona, died Friday at her residence, following an extended illness.

She was born in Clearfield, daughter of the late George and Roberta (Burton) Rhone. She married William G. Camberg, who preceded her in death in 2005.

She is survived by two daughters: Terry Longo and husband, Daniel, and Linda Camberg; two sons: William G. Camberg II and wife, Mary, and Kevin Camberg and wife, Jenny; five grandchildren: Chris Longo and wife, Wendy, Scott Camberg and wife, Dr. Jodi, Kirin McCaulley and husband, Phil, Adam Camberg and wife, Kathryn, and Brian Camberg and Rebecca Lutz; six great-grandchildren: Alexandria "Lexie" Longo, John Mosher-Johnson, Grace Elizabeth Camberg, Kohen and Anderson Camberg and Isabella Grace "Bella" Davis.

She graduated from Clearfield High School.

She was a member of Juniata United Methodist Church, where she served as a caregiver in the nursery for 30 years, and also taught Bible school.

She was a member of the Juniata Civic Association.

She was well-known in antique and auction circles and had a love and expertise in early American pattern glass.

She was an avid Penn State and Steelers fan and delighted in watching her grandchildren participate in multiple sports events.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31, 2011, at Juniata United Methodist Church, 808 N. Fourth St., Altoona, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. by Pastor Keith Schmuk. Arrangements are under the direction of Anthony P. Scaglione Funeral Home. Interment will be made at Grandview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Juniata United Methodist Church or Juniata Civic Association.
