Evelyn Hayden Fellows, born April 24, 1915 in Ft. Smith, AR to Eva Berkley Hayden and Roy Hayden. The family moved to Tulsa in 1921, when her father opened the Tulsa Feed Company. She graduated from Central High School, 1934 and attended the University of Oklahoma where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in French in 1938. At OU she became a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. While attending OU she met Charles R. Fellows who was attending law school in Norman. The couple married November 18, 1939 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Tulsa. Following WWII the Fellows made their home in Tulsa where Charles practiced law with his father, Ray S. Fellows. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, was a member of the Board of the Children's Day Nursery, St. John's Altar Guild, Daughter of the King and the St. Simeon's Home Auxiliary. She was predeceased by: husband, Charles; her parents and her sister, Kathryn Jane Killion.
