Daughter of William de Valence, Earl of Pembroke and Joan, daughter of Warin de Munchensy.

She was the first wife of Sir John de Hastings, son of Sir Henry de Hastings and Joan de Cantilowe. They were married at Braxted, Essex or Blunham, Bedfordshire by papal dispensation dated 15 July 1275 as they were related in the 3rd and 4th degrees of kindred, and had three sons and three daughters: William, John and Henry, Joan, Elizabeth and Margaret.

Isabel died 05 Oct 1305 and buried at Coventry Priory. John would marry again to Isabel le Despenser.
