Gibbons, Oletha Mae - Oletha M. Gibbons, 62, went to meet her Savior on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2003, in Ennis. She was born June 5, 1941 in Stephenville, the daughter of Ivan and Adeliah M. Andrew Stewart. She was reared in North Richland Hills and graduated high school in Fort Worth. On July 8, 1960 she was married to William W. Gibbons of Haltom City. After their marriage they lived in Haltom City, North Richland Hills, Howe, Lubbock and Duncanville. In 1997 they moved to Ennis. She was a loving mother and grandmother who adored her grandchildren. She was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Bill, of Ennis; a son and his wife, Michael and Laura Gibbons of Coppell; 2 daughters and their husbands, Kathy and Charles Peek of Eureka Springs, Pam and Dean Craig of Midlothian; and 7 grandchildren, Justin Peek, Philip Peek and Kimberly Peek all of Eureka Springs, Caroline Gibbons and Sarah Gibbons of Coppell, Holly Craig and Cody Craig of Midlothian. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Keever Chapel with Dr. James Pool, Rev. Richard Moody and Rev. Charles Peek officiating. Interment will be in Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of: J.E. Keever Mortuary. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
