Joanne M. Connor, 51, of 35 Faymore Drive, died Sunday at home. She worked in the administration department at the U.S. Postal Service on Main Street, Springfield, for 12 years. She worked previously for Pension Associates in Springfield for 20 years. Born in Springfield, she was a lifelong resident here. She was a graduate of Agawam High School and Bay Path Junior College and a member of St. John the Evangelist Church. She leaves a son, Travis of Agawam; a daughter, Kristen Laudato of Agawam; her mother, Anna (Meccia) Natale of Agawam; two brothers, Frank, and Anthony Verteramo, both of Agawam, and her companion, Michael J. DeStefano of Newton. The funeral will be Wednesday morning at Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home and the church, with burial in Center Cemetery. Calling hours are this afternoon and evening.
