Services for Mamie Ellen Young, 90, Pauls Valley, are 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 14, 1999, at the Stufflebean Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Charles Dean officiating. Burial follows in Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean Funeral Home.
Mrs. Young died May 12, 1999, in Pauls Valley. She was born July 22, 1908, in Wilson to Willis Wesley and Mary Virginia Johnson Pierce. She lived in this area most of her life and worked at various jobs while raising her family. She was a member of the First Assemble of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie Monroe Young, at an early age; a son, James Wesley "Buck" Young; brothers, Buster, Jesse, Lester "Speck", and Roy; and her sister, Grace.
She is survived by two sons, Raymond Young, Noble, and Carroll Gene Young, Garland, TX; a daughter, Mary Juanita Dutton, Lindsay; a brother Delbert Pierce, Idaho; two sisters, Ruth Hamle, Oklahoma City, and Beulah Snyder, Del City; umeros grandchildren adn great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
