EX-TREASURER PASSED AWAY JULY 4
Norman Forsythe, age 90 years, well-known Clark county farmer and ex-county treasurer, passed away at Union Hospital, Terre Haute, Thursday, morning, July 4th.
He is survived by three sons, Alva Forsythe, Denver, Colorado; James E. Forsythe, Ponce, Puerto Rico, and Ray Forsythe of Marshall. Four daughters, Mrs. Ann Hastings, Terre Haute, Indiana; Mrs. John W. Lewis, Marshall; Mrs. Dove Whitney, Greencastle, Indiana; and Miss Lila Forsythe, Terre Haute, Indiana. Two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Hall, Marshall; and Mrs. Eva Dempster, Denver, Colorado. Eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
The body was removed to the Moore Funeral Home in Marshall where services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. William Reed, minister officiated.
Burial was in the Forsythe Cemetery.
