Leonard G. McCay, 71, of Poland, Clay, Indiana, formerly of Indianapolis, died March 22, 1996. Son of Ora Guy McCay and Tressa Blanche Stump McCay. Married Betty Louise Albright, Jan 19, 1947, Indianapolis, Marion, Indiana.
He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a tool and die maker 15 years for Ideal Engineering, retiring in 1972. He enjoyed wood working, panning for gold in California and traveling .
He was the widower of Betty who died in 1976. Preceded in death by his parents; sister, Orpha Mann, and 2 brothers, Dean Edwin and Howard Russell McCay who died as small children. Survivors: children Daniel McCay and Becky Roth, brother Everett McCay, 15 grandchildren: 24 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services: 12:30 p.m. March 25 at Washington Park North Cemetery. Calling 10 a.m. to noon March 25 in Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg.
