Edward Kobobel
Edward Kobobel, 71, Greeley, died Friday, July 8, at St. Mary-Corwin Hospital in Pueblo.
He was born Dec. 23, 1916, to Carl and Mary (Stricker) Kobobel in Nebraska.
On Nov. 27, 1938, he married Helen Deines in Greeley.
Mr. Kobobel came with his parents to Greeley where he grew up and attended schools. After his marriage, the couple farmed in the Weld County area.
Survivors are a daughter, Joy Bates of Salem, Ore.; two sons, Allan of Erie and Bill of Longmont; five sisters, Venice Johns and Lillian Moffatt, both of California, Mollie Stroh, Esther Clark and Clara Ulrich, all of Greeley; six brothers, Carl, Fred, Elmer and Bill, all of Greeley, Harvey and Harry, both of Wiggins; and five granddaughters.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Stoddard Funeral Home.
