"Chris" was born in Denmark, immigrated to USA & directly went to Ord, Valley Co, NE where his brother Peter came earlier & later their brother, Martin & sister, Kristina came to US & joined them in/near same NE area. Their parents Rasmus Rasmussen & Christine (Andersen) stayed in Denmark.. as well as their remaining siblings. In 1915 "Chris" married Ella Marie Nielsen, in/near Valley Co, NE. They had 2 sons & 3 daughters together. "Chris" died in Ord, NE. His widow, Ella died in CA was cremated & buried in Ord Cem.; as is also, their oldest son, Thomas D.Rasmussen, daughter Elsie Marie Rademaker had a headstone placed at the cemetery prior to her death (but may not be interred at this time); also "Chris'" 2 brothers, Peter and Martin & their spouses were also buried there; also "Chris'" granddaughter, Sharon Mae Rasmussen. "Chris'" sister, Kristina "Stina" died and buried in WY with her spouse, Hans Sorensen.
