James W. "Jim" Allen Jr., 59, of 121 W. Summit St., died at 10:16 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 7, 1951 in Lafayette to Geneva "Betty" Zanger Allen of Delphi, and the late James W. Allen Sr.
He married Peggy L. Pearson in Delphi, on July 16, 1983, and she survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Kimberly N. Allen of Chicago and Stefanie L. Allen, at home; a son, Bradly D. Allen of Delphi and four sisters, Kathy Brooks (companion: Bob Brooks) of Delphi, Debra Allen of Plainfield, Il., Levata Wilson (husband: Lenwood) of Houston, Texas and Linda Weaver (husband: William) of Fishers.
He served in the Indiana National Guard for six years.
