New Invention - A short time since we had occasion to allude to a "Spring Brace for Carriages," patented by I. D. Johnson, M. D., of Kennet Square. Since then we have seen in practical operation one of these braces on a carriage. It works very nicely, holds the springs securely in position , prevents any jostling back and forth, while it allows the springs to play freely in a vertical direction. We see no reason why this brace will not be applied to all wagons with springs, as they are not complete without it. It is very simple and durable, can be put on at a moderate cost, and will add much to the value and permanency of the wagon.
