Ralph Necessary 78, of Christoval died Friday February 4, 2011 in a local hospital.
Viewing will be all day Sunday and Monday with the family present from 5:00p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday at Johnson's Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 10:00 am Tuesday at Christoval Baptist Church with Rev. Buddy Trull officiating. Military graveside will follow in Christoval Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Wade, John Dorsett, Bob Weintraub, Baily Bishop, Bently Kennedy, Ector Troncoso. Honorary Pallbearers will be Don Baker, J.D. Martin, Bill Hoover, Will Hoover and Carlton Strapper.
Mr. Necessary was born July 17, 1932 in Oglesby, Texas to Joseph and Mador Duran Necessary. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and was known to many area ranchers as a trapper and good friend. Ralph married Mary Clarice Kirk December 21, 1956 in San Angelo. He was a member of Christoval Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Mary Necessary of Christoval, two daughters Charlene Torres and husband Herbert of Knickerbocker, Theresa Troncoso and husband Ector of Christoval, a son Cecil Necessary and wife Jackie of Ozona, five grandchildren Herbert M. Torres and wife Angelina, Joseph Lee Torres and fiancé Renee, Micala Troncoso, Ector Troncoso Jr., Michelle Necessary, and a great granddaughter Rebecca.
