Pearl L. Allis, 90, a resident of Orange City, Florida and formerly of Owego, passed away on Jan, 29, 2011 in Florida. Pearl was born on April 29, 1920 in Endicott, NY, a daughter of the late Leon and Bessie (Strope) Rogers. Pearl was predeceased by her husband Guy E. Allis on Dec. 15, 1990. She is survived by her three daughters, Beverly Rolfe, Candy Sweppenheiser and Linda (Donald) Warner, and three sons: Richard (Louise) Allis, Guy (Sherry) Allis and Mark Allis. A sister-in-law Estelle Rogers, several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and their families also survive. She was also predeceased by her brothers Merle, Kenneth, Arthur, Ervin and Walter Rogers and sons-in-law, David Sweppenheiser and Donald Rolfe.

A funeral service and celebration of Pearl's life will be held on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 2 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols with Pastor Donna Martin, officiating. A period of visitation and time of sharing memories will be held on Friday from noon until the time of the service at the chapel. Interment will be in the Valley Home Cemetery, Windham, Pa.
