Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2008, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. John Pehrson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel.
Al was born Aug. 17, 1922, in Washta, Iowa, the son of Clarence and Helen (Small) Tucker. Al joined the Air Force and was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was also a member of the Air Guard.
He married Helen R. Larson on Nov. 18, 1952, in Sioux City. She preceded him in death on July 31, 2004.
Al was a member of American Legion Morningside Post 697 and Masonic Lodge, where he was a past master. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
He enjoyed reading and yard work, and he loved his dog.
