Lawrence "Larry" Anthony Demski, age 76, of Erie, MI, passed away in Toledo on February 7, 2011. He graduated from Macomber High School in Toledo. He married Jane Marie Piorkowski on June 9, 1956. Lawrence worked for Owens Illinois for 32 years. To cherish his memory he leaves a spouse; children, Larry (Lisa "CC") Demski of Toledo, Michael (Kristi) Demski of Erie, Lynn (Del) Clayton of Toledo, Jennifer Allen of Toledo; grand-children, Kristin, Courtney, Lindsay, Casey, Cody, Allie, and Hannah; sisters, Louise Valkenburg, Rose Mary "Kit" Demski. Friends may gather from 1:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Merkle Funeral Service, 9156 Summit Street (734) 848-5185. Lawrence will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the Mass of the Resurrection at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 11, 2011 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Erie.
