Gracen Bettinger was born on May 5, 1894 and died on April 9, 1964, at the age 69 years, 11 months, 4 days. Funeral services were held at English Grove Church and buried in the English Grove Cemetery, near Fairfax, Atchison County, Missouri along side of his other brothers. He was the son of Darius and Annabelle (Stoner) Bettinger. He married Opal Evelyn Hawk on October 12, 1919 in Rock Port, Atchison County, Missouri (Vol 10 Page 425). She was the daughter of Emanuel and Emma (Bradley) Hawk. To this union one daughter was born Maude Pearl. After Gracen death Opal married Charles Hunt, she died June 27, 1976 and is buried in the 100F Cemetery in Craig, Holt County, Missouri. FAG 65319279. Maudie Pearl married Glen Reimers on January23, 1940 in Rock Port, Atchison County, Missouri. (Number on marriage 106088) To this union two children were born Frances and Robert. On December 20, 1952 she married D. Fry and on November 22, 1958 she married Percy Dee Orr. Maude died on July 19, 1987 and is buried in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie County, Iowa.
