Urban A. Gowen, age 42, committed suicide
at about noon yesterday in the garage of
his Clark Street home in Farmingdale.
He shot himself in the right temple with
a .38 caliber revolver.
He was found at 7 o'clock last evening by
his sister, Mrs. Myra Shaw when she opened the garage doors to drive her car in. Despondency was probably the cause.
He was a laster at the Commonwealth Shoe
& Leather Company factory at Gardiner and made his home with his mother and sister.
