Obituary: James E. Scott, 82, Indianapolis, died August 20, 2001. A pattern maker for 63 years, he founded and served as president of Scott Pattern Company before retiring. Previously, he founded Commercial Pattern. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Scott was a member of Moose Lodge 17, Elks Lodge 1818 and German-American Klub of Indianapolis. Mr. Scott has won several medals in ballroom dancing competitions. Services: 11 A.M., Aug. 23 in Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center at Washington Park East; with calling from 4 to 8 p.m. Aug. 22. Burial: Washington Park East Cemetery. Survivors: wife Madonna G, Gregory Scott Beverly Lilly; three sister; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
