COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for Margaret Willene Spurlock, 91, of Cookeville, will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 10, from the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 9, and from 7 a.m. until time of services on Thursday at the funeral home.

Margaret Willene Spurlock was born on February 09, 1919 in Putnam County, TN to the late Esker and Valeria Pierce Wilhite. She was a telephone operator for 41 years at GTE. Margaret was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and member of many local organizations, The Business & Professional Women's Club, Democratic Women Club, Home Demonstration Club, and the United Methodist Women's organization. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Ralph E. Spurlock, Sister: Pauline Wilhite, & Brother: Harold Wilhite.
She is survived by 3 Daughters & Sons-In-Law: Linda and Dennis McBroom-Cookeville, TN Martha & Joe Fell- PA Betsy & Bruce Riley-Cookeville 4 GRANDCHILDREN & SPOUSES: Josh & Laura McDaniel, Eddie & Kelly McDaniel, Chuck & Anna Slezak, Rachel Moore.
