Graveside services for Louis Corgey, 88, of Edge are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at New Church Cemetery in Edge. Mr. Jesse Jenkins of Benchley Church of Christ will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday and from 8 to 9 a.m. Saturday at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan.
Mr. Corgey died Tuesday at St. Joseph Rehabilitation Center. He was a lifelong resident of Edge and a retired pipe fitter. He was a member of the Pipe Fitters Union and Benchley Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Corgey. Survivors include a son, Jerry Corgey of Edge; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Janice and Ron Lowe of Bryan, Jo Genzer of San Antonio, Anna Belle and Tim Knezek of Wheelock and Jean Cook of Edge; a brother, W.G. Corgey of Edge; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
