RATTRAY, Alice May
1921 - 2002
On Wednesday, September 25, 2002, Alice May Rattray of Mayerthorpe, formerly of Edmonton, passed away peacefully at the age of 80 years. Alice will be forever loved by her daughter, Leslie and her husband, Tom and their girls, Heather, Karen and Marina, all of Mayerthorpe; her sons, Jim Belton and Kelly (Shelly) Rattray, all of Edmonton; sister, Helen Stepchuk of Edmonton; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, James and stepson, Gordon; five sisters and four brothers. Alice was an independent person who enjoyed her granddaughters immensely. She had a good sense of humour and was the cook that every family should have. Getting ready for Christmas was her year long project. She will be sorely missed but always remembered. A Celebration of Alice's Life will be held Saturday, September 28 at 3:00 p.m. at Mayerthorpe Legion, Mayerthorpe. Pastor Ruth Lotholz officiating with inurnment in Mayerthorpe Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Mayerthorpe Health Care Centre, Box 30, Mayerthorpe, AB T0E 1N0 or to a charity of one's choice. Park Memorial Ltd. Funeral Administrators and Directors (Mayerthorpe) 780-786-2533.
