Funeral services for Mildred "Tince" Elliott, 81, of Bryan will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Hillier Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Wayne Wylie, of the Edge Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be in New Church Cemetery in the Edge community. Visiting hours will be today from 6-9 p.m.

Mrs. Elliott died early Thursday morning in a local hospital. She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Brazos County. Mrs. Elliott was a member of the Edge Senior Citizens Group and was an active participant in several volunteer organizations. She belonged to the Edge Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Jeannine Batten and Kathleen Riley; and a son-in-law, Robert L. Riley, Jr. Survivors include her husband, Ray C. Elliott, of Bryan; a daughter and two sons-in-law, Cheryl and Ralph Cobb, Jr. of College Station and J.R. Batten of Clute; five grandchildren, Gerald Riley of Clute, Jackie Linn Martin of Lake Jackson, Bobbie Guilbeaux of Clute, Kevin Cobb of Bedford, and Kristen Cobb of College Station; and two great-grandchildren, Ronnie Guilbeaux and Gayle Guilbeaux, both of Clute.
