Garry, who died unmarried, was the only son of my great great grandparents : Alonzo Danvers Luce and Cornelia Ann Price (both of whom are laid to rest here). Garry died due to cerebral spiral meningitis, sick less than a week according to a newspaper clipping I have.

Garry was the oldest of 4 children and had sisters :
- Emma Lousie Luce, who married Fred Humphrey Lamkin, my great grandparents
- J Blanche Luce, who married Frank Bahn and then Lloyd Nichols Hutchinson
- Alice Maud Luce (also laid to rest here)

Garry's family moved to Auburn from Ithaca about 1879.

I have added 4 newspaper clippings from FultonHistory.Com about his death. Garry was greatly admired.

He worked for the Southern Central Railroad as a telegraph operator (1880 census).
