BOONEVILLE – Ruby Jean Alexander, 86, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at the Longwood Community Living Center in Booneville after an extended illness. She was a housewife and a Baptist.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Alexander and Dr. Lynn Jones officiating. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery.
She is survived by three sons, Dan Alexander (Frank Kirkowski) of New York, Eddie Alexander (Billie Sue) of Memphis and Ronnie Alexander (Vickie) of Walnut; four grandchildren, Chris Alexander (Meridith) of Knoxville,Tenn., Kelly Bunker (Scott) of Douglasville, Ga., Aubrey Broome (Neal) of Jackson and Ryan Alexander of Walnut; two great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Bunker and Alex Bunker of Douglasville, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bondie Lee and Tilma McGill Palmer; her husband, Bruce Alexander; a sister, Mary Ella White; and three brothers, Donald Palmer, Pete Palmer and Carl Palmer.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
