RETIRED FARMER DIES AT SEASIDE
William Edmond Cole passed away at Seaside Saturday, August 13, at the age of 89 years, 3 months and 8 days. He had been a resident of Seaside since 1943, and a retired farmer.
Cole was born in Clinton, Missouri, the son of Peter and Lucinda Shumaker Cole. He was married to Narcisus Whitlow Cole who preceded him in death in 1932.
Survivors are: a son, Harry L. Cole, Seaside; a daughter, Mrs. Ina Jones, Amity; and a sister, Mrs. Knickerson, Minnesota.
Services were held Tuesday in the chapel of Macy and Sons Funeral home with Rev. S. James Osborne officiating. Interment was in teh Amity cemetery.
