Mrs. Elizabeth Burkhart, widow of Henry H. Burkhart, who lived with her daughter, Mrs. Eli Sauder, at Bareville, died on Sunday evening, aged seventy-two years, after an illness of two years' duration. Mrs. Burkhart was a member of the Mennonite church. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Henry Keller, Mrs. Aaron H. Burkhart, Mrs. Elias R. Hess, all of Bareville; Mrs. Wayne E. Brubaker, of Akron; Mrs. Floyd Grabill, of New Holland, and Mrs. E. R. Sauder. An only brother, Michael W. Nolt, of Bareville, also survives. The funeral was held on Thursday morning at 9 o'clock, and at 10 o'clock at the Groffdale Mennonite church. Interment was made in the adjoining cemetery.
