Charlotte June Bennett, age 79 of Sparta, TN passed away Thursday, April 15, 2010 in Sparta.

She was born August 22, 1930 in Greenville, TN to the late James D. and Bertha Grubbs Jones.

She was also preceded in death by a brother: James E. Jones.

Mrs. Charlotte was a Member of United Methodist Church, Twice Past President of the United Methodist Women, member of the Sparta Women's Club, Mother Advisor of the Rainbow Girls and a Life Member of the Eastern Star since 1952.

She is survived by her Husband of 58 years: Ernest D. Bennett, Jr.
Son: Ernest D. Bennett, III & wife Mary Jane of Nashville
3 Granddaughters and 1 Grandson
4 Great-Granddaughters and 4 Great-Grandsons
3 Brothers: Roy, Mark, and Allen Jones all of Greenville, TN
1 Sister: Jo Carter of Sarasota, Florida

Service: Sunday April 18, 2010 @ Sparta First United Methodist Church.

Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery with
Rev. Rich Morgan officiating.
