Marilyn died, peacefully in her sleep Jan. 28, 2011, at her home in San Marcos, Calif., and is now resting in the arms of Jesus. Marilyn was born Aug. 23, 1939, in Lingle to Edward and Lillian (Richardson) Clark. She graduated from Veteran High School and went on to the University of Wyoming where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Nursing and then began her nursing career in Wyoming and later in California.

In April of 1962, she married Dan Lazzarevich. To this union two girls, Dana and Renee, were born. They later divorced. She married a college friend, Bill Howell on Nov. 9, 1996.

Marilyn had a "zest" for life and people, and the gift of caring for others. She loved to fish and do any kind of adventurous activity. There was never a dull moment when she was near you. She loved being around people and chatting on the phone. No matter what the Lord gave her, she handled it with enthusiasm-even though she had to deal with some health issues. She put other peoples' needs before her own.

Marilyn grew up on a ranch in Goshen Hole, which is west of Veteran, and she adored the "wide open spaces." She was able to relive the memories of her childhood on a trip out there in July 2010. Marilyn was extremely proud of the accomplishments of her two daughters and five grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Marilyn is survived by her two daughters, Dana Fudurich of Del Mar, Calif., and Renee Mclaren of Costa Mesa, Calif.; two sisters, Lois Waggoner and Janice (Herman) Domson both of Torrington; five grandchildren, Jordan, Justin, and Maddie Mclaren of Costa Mesa, Chloe and Clay Fudurich of Del Mar; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her grandparents; mother and father; two brothers, Bob and Don Clark; nieces, Cindy Domson and Bonnie Murray; Nephews, Scott Waggoner and Grant Clark.
