Thomas Baldwin is my 5th-great grandfather. He was the son of Revolutionary War Capt. John Baldwin who served out of Virginia. Although I've listed his birth place as Berkeley Co., WV, it was actually part of VA at the time of Thomas' birth. Thomas married Mary Cookus and they had the following children: Francis (my 4th-great grandfather), James C., and Amanda.∼Aged 47 years, 6 months
