Rosary for Mrs. Joe R. Cikanek, 81, of the Alma community in Ellis County, was recited Wednesday evening in the Keever Chapel in Ennis.
Mrs. Cikanek, a native of Weimar, in Colorado County, died Tuesday in Ennis. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church.
Funeral rites will be held at 4 p. m. Thursday in the Keever Chapel, with burial in Myrtle Cemetery.
Survivors: three sons, Joe E. Cikanek, Charlie Cikanek, and Julius Cikanek, all of Alma; two daughters, Mrs. Emma Mach and Mrs. Lillie Mahdak of Dallas; a sister, Mrs. Joe Volcik of Dallas, four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
