How Louis Became Jack

Jack desperately wanted to fight in WWI but he was too young. Instead he stole the birth certificate of his older brother, Jack (John L.), and enlisted in the army. Hence, Louis went by the name of "Jack." The real "Jack" was later known as "Blackie."
Jack's nickname was also Lefty.
