John Crosby Putnam, 80, a life long resident of Oak Valley, on July 15th. John was retired from the United States Army after 24 years of service, receiving 2 Purple Hearts. He was a Life Member of the Disabled American Veterans. John loved to fish, bowl and woodworking.

John is survived by his children Sally Dyer of Lewis, NY, Patrick Putnam of Elizabethtown, NY, Karen L. Harker of Mantua, Steve Putnam of Mantua & Brenda (Rocco) Rossi of Wenonah; Joyce J. Putnam; sister Shirley Dugan of Lake Placid, NY; 3 grandchildren Theresa Griffen, Jennifer & Ian Harker & 1 great grandson Jackson.

Visitation Tuesday 9 to 11am at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware St. Woodbury, NJ. Interment with full Military Honors in Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
