Tyrell who was born on December 8, 1912, in New Jersey, began his acting career on Broadway in New York appearing in such plays as, "Goose For The Gander," "Love Goes To Press," and "All Quiet On The Western Front." His films include, "It Happened At The World's Fair" (1962), "Love Before Breakfast" (1936), and the film version of "All Quiet On The Western Front" in 1930. In November 1958 he also made a guest appearance on the television series, "The Rifleman."
