Byron Kindig, Jan. 27, 1909 - June 1, 1995, Byron KINDIG, 86, 8408 East 100 North, Akron, died at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Parkview Memorial Hospital, Fort Wayne, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident in LaGrange May 20. He was born in Fulton County to John and Carrie UTTER KINDIG. On May 20, 1934 he married Mildred STEININGER, who died Aug. 1982. On Feb. 14, 1984 he married Thelma SNYDER, who died Sept. 1993. He was a farmer and a member of the Olive Bethel Church of God. Surviving are two sons, Clifford D. [KINDIG], Roswell, N.M.; Paul J. [KINDIG], Akron; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nellie BENNITT, Walkerton, and Dorothy PATTEE, Lake Placid, Fla. Preceding in death were one son, Larry [KINDIG]; one sister, Pauline SWICK, and two brothers, Herman and Gerald [KINDIG]. Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Olive Bethel Church of God with the Rev. Lynne JESSUP and the Rev. James PARKER officiating. Burial will be in the Athens Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron. Memorials may be made to Olive Bethel Church of God.
