Mary S. Robinson, 87, of Jackson, Mississippi died Saturday, February 12, 2011 in Panama City, FL.
Mary was born in Sebastian, Ohio, daughter of the late Julius Henry and Alvira Dorsten Swieterman.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Douglas T. Robinson; her daughter, Judy Biggs and son-in-law, Steve Biggs.
She was a member of St. Richard Catholic Church for over 40 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Survivors include five daughters: Joyce Noone and husband, Mike; Joan Damiens and husband, Denis, all of Madison, MS; Jayne Donlan and husband, Brian; Jeanne Robinson, all of Panama City, FL; Jill Saway and husband, Alan of Dahlonega, GA; one brother, Carl Swieterman and wife, Joyce of Lexington, KY; one sister, Lois Tousley and husband, Phil of Sacramento, CA; 15 grandchildren: Kristi Broome, Dr. Kathleen Biggs, Michael Noone, Nicole Noone, Dr.Jamie McCollum, Lauren Fairburn, Joseph Damiens, Justin Evans, Angela Evans, Chris Donlan, Joe Donlan, Corey Copeland, Thomas Derbes, Zachary Saway, and Madison Saway; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011 at St. Richard Catholic Church, 1242 Lynwood Dr. Jackson, MS with visitation at the church 12 noon-1pm and a funeral mass to follow, Father Mike O'Brien officiating. Interment at Lakewood Cemetery in Jackson. Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home Highland Colony is in charge of arrangements.
