Donna B. Fields, 48, of 1512 Third Street , Bedford , died at 8 a.m. Wednesday, January 7, 1979 at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born May 29, 1931 in Miami County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Floyd E. and Margaret Young. She married William D. Fields on September 12, 1954, and he survives.

Also surviving are one son, David, at home; one daughter, Pam Fields, also at home; the parents of Route 1, Roann , Indiana ; two brothers, Ronald of Rochester, Indiana and James of Akron, Indiana; and one sister, Mrs. Charles (Wanita) Houpt of Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

Mrs. Fields had been a nurse at Dunn Memorial Hospital for 25 years, having graduated in 1951 from the Indianapolis General Hospital School of Nursing.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with the Rev. O. Tarrell Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery . Friends may call at the mortuary after 2 p.m. today.
