died Friday, March 22, 1996, at the
Centerville Good Samaritan
Center.
Blanche Bertrand was born July
2, 1903, in Clyde, Kan.
She married Lauren Adamson on
Feb. 1, 1926, in Sioux Falls. They
farmed in Clay County until 1969,
when they retired and moved to
Centerville. Her husband died May
21, 1988.
She was a member of the Good
Shepherd Catholic Church, where
she was a member of the Altar
Society.
Survivors include three sons:
Darold of Yankton; Delmer of
Volin; and James of Centerville; 16
grandchildren; 34 great-grandchil-
dren; four great-great-grandchil-
dren; and one brother, Albert of
Scotland.
Services begin at 10:30 a.m.
Monday at the Good Shepherd
Catholic Church in Centerville, with
burial in Riverview Cemetery,
rural Centerville.
Visitation is 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
today at Wass Funeral Home in
Centerville, with a wake service at
7:30 p.m. at the church.
