Donald E. Rice, 37, Stilwell in Johnson County, died February 19, 1992, at St. Luke's Hospital. He was born in Topeka and lived in Osawatomie, Kan., and Olathe before moving to Stilwell four months ago. Mr. Rice was a bus driver for Mayflower Contract Services Inc. for six years. He was a member of the New Life Pentecostal Church of Olathe, where he was a song leader. Survivors include his wife, Patty G. Rice of the home; a son, Johnathan Rice, and a daughter, Amy Rice, both of Jasper, Georgia; his father, James R. Rice Jr., his mother, Beverly J. Rice, a brother, James R. Rice III, and a sister, Donna J. Rice, all of Topeka; and his maternal grandmother, Wilma L. Godfrey, Carbondale, Kansas Services will be at 11 a.m. today at the Frye Chapel, Olathe; burial in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
