She was born in West Chicago, Ill., and came to this area eight years ago from Kansas City, M0. She was a retired personnel secretary for DH&S Co. of Aurora, Ill., for 10 years, retiring in 1970. She was a member of San Pedro Catholic Church of North Port and Catholic Daughters of Illinois.
Survivors include her husband, John; and two nieces, Shirley Martin of North Aurora, Ill and Sandy Denin of South Carolina.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Farley Furneral Home, North Port Chapel, with rosary at 7 p.m. Service will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at San Pedro Catholic Church in North Port. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
Memorial Donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
