Robert A. Wolford, age 35, a former resident of Pawnee, passed away Wednesday night at 10:40 at the home, 827 Sargeant street, Joplin, Mo., following a lingering illness of tuberculosis. He had been bedfast since April. The remains were shipped to the home of relatives at Pawnee.
The deceased was born in Bourbon county and was raised in the Pawnee vicinity where he passed the first 22 years of his life. He is survived by a wife and three children, Lee, Viola and James.
The funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Large School House, conducted by Rev. Dabbs of the Christian church at Girard. Interment will be made in the Large cemetery.
