Survived by her loving husband of 46 years, "Purp" Thurman E. Bolerjack ; one daughter, Mardolyn Mrs. Robert Vescovi of Joliet; one son, Lee Bolerjack of North Carolina; three granddaughters, Sally Vescovi, Marissa Bolerjack and Kristen Vescovi; three grandsons, Anthony Vescovi, Daniel Bolerjack and Patrick Pelaez; four sisters, Mrs. Marilyn (Richard) Reichman, Marvel Mrs. Edward Woodcock, Mardella Mrs. Milton Voss and Marion "Terry" Cantu; one brother, Louis (Rita) Cantu; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and many dear friends.
Born in Joliet, lifelong resident.
Preceded by her parents, Louis and Violet (Crosson) Cantu.
Graduate of Olivet Nazarene College, on the Dean's list with high honors. Also Illinois State, receiving her Master's Degree in Education.
Employed as a teacher at Joliet Township High School, retiring in 1993 after serving them for 20 years.
Charter member of the Larkin Baptist Church, serving as Sunday School Teacher, Awana and Pioneer Girls Leader.
Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, Cedar at Francis Rds., Monday 1-5 and 6-8 p.m. Lying in state Tuesday, October 7 at the Larkin Baptist Church, 1516 Edgerton Dr., 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. J. Michael Fox officiating.
Interment Lockport City Cemetery.
