Mrs. Watts was a native of Milledgeville and owned her own business where she worked as a Beautician. She also had retired from Coliseum Hospital where she received employer of the year in 1980 and volunteer of the year in 1996. She was also runner up for 1996 Senior Cerry Blossom Queen. She was a member of the Eastern Star # 345 and was a member of Vineville United Methodist Church where she taught sunday school and sang in the choir. Mrs. Watts was the daughter of the late Norman Weathers and Johnnie Mae Pierce Weathers. She was preceded in death by her husband.
Survivors include her daughter Sandra Burgamy of Milledgeville, Grandchildren; Wendi (Tim) Patterson of Macon, Rob (Lucy) West of Clarkesville, Great Granddaughter Virginia Grace West of Athens.
