Charlotte "Lottie" Phillips Ankrom, 89, of Waynesburg, PA, died October 9, 1997 in Greene Co. Memorial Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
She was born May 25, 1908, in Wayne Township, a daughter of Francis M. and Sarah Ann Rice Phillips.
On July 12, 1923, she married Charles Winfield Ankrom, who died April 13, 1970.
Surviving are two daughters, Martha Whittington of Charleston,WV and Dorothy McNeely of Jefferson, PA; one son Robert G. Ankrom of Washington, PA.
Deceased are six sisters, Haddie Dulaney, Minnie Shultz, Ida Phillips, Gertrude Phillips, Rosa Speelman, and Margaret Ankrom; and four brothers, John Phillips, William Phillips, James Phillips and Charles Phillips.
