He had been a resident of Jackson for the past 10 years and was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include one daughter Miss Mary Ruth Hale of Jackson, one step-daughter, Mrs. Clyde Wilson of Terry, one step-son Sgt. Milton C. Harrison of Lake Charles, LA., one brother Joseph T. Hale of Jackson and two sisters Mrs. G.D. Cox of Jackson and Mrs. O.C. Gillespie of Shreveport, LA.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2pm from the Baldwin Funeral Chapel with Elder Tom Bledsoe of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Vicksburg officiating. Interment will be at 4pm in the Glenwood Cemetery in Yazoo City.
