She was born Oct. 16, 1920 in Livingston, Tenn., the daughter of Eugene and Emma (Flowers) Daniels. She married Loyd L. Conner Oct. 22, 1938, and he preceded her in death Aug. 2, 2006. Lillie worked at Ainsbrooke Corp. in Carmi as an examiner and also cleaned homes for others.
She is survived by a son and a daughter-in-law, Eugene and Winnie Conner of Henderson, Ky.; one brother, Emerson Daniel of Norris City; two sisters, Ruth Burns of Washington, and Jeanetta McLean of Mt. Carmel; four grandchildren, Kenny Ray Conner of Florida, and Sieglinde Williams, Melinda Baker and Misty Fleming, all of Henderson, Ky.; four great-grandchildren, Max Baker, Corey Williams, Malia Baker and Thomas Fleming, all of Henderson, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Maxine Reese of Carmi.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 68 years, Loyd; and two sons, L. Kenny Conner, and an infant, Raymond Conner.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011 at Stendeback Family Funeral Home/Kittinger-Fair in Carmi. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. Saturday until the service time.
