Mrs. Mary Kuhleman Laid to rest at Yellow Creek

Funeral services for the late Mrs. Mary Kuhleman were held at 1:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the Milton Kuhleman Residence in Lena and at 2 o'clock at the Yellow Creek Brethern Church. Rev. J. H. Burton officiated and burial was made in the adjoining cemetery.
Pall bearers were F. R. Erwin, Roll Thompson, Bert Ditzler, Dave Virtue, D. J. Elocher, George Frey, and the singers were the Misses Orpha Blocher and evelyn Clair and Mesdames Will Eisenhower and Irvin Beisemeir.
Mrs. Kuhleman was born May 26, 1866, near Pearl City, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Eby. Her marriage to Mr. Kuhleman took place about 43 years ago.
She was a kindly, Christian woman, well liked by all who knew her and a loyal member of the Yellow Creek Church of the Brethern.
Mr. Kuhleman lost his life in an accident in a stone quarry near Mt. Carroll in 1931. Surviving members of the family are Lyman Kuhleman of Warren, Milton Kuhleman of Lena and Mrs. Paul (Ruth) Woessner of Shannon and a half brother Norman Eby of Adel, Iowa.
