Virginia was a very loving, heavy handed, soft hearted woman, that would give the shirt off her back if asked. Virginia and her son Bill, opened Roventini's Paisano Market in 1970. Everybody that really knew Virginia, knew her as "Noni", which means grandmother in Italian. She loved to crochet, make biscotti everyday, and enjoy her family whether related or not. One funny story is that Virginia always kept a baseball bat under the counter at the deli, for the customers that got out of hand. Virginia and her husband William, had married in 1937. Upon William's death, they had been married for 27 years.
