He was a life long inventor, and a diver/investor with the Mel Fisher search of "Nuestra Senora de Atocha". Chris was the founder and owner of the Atlantic Recovery. He had a strong passion and fascination for the sea. He is survived by his fiancée, Rachel Lee Bryant; mother, Mary E. Ratican; brothers, Walter L. Ratican Jr., Donald D. Ratican, William A. Ratican IV; sisters, Lisa M. Ratican and Laura R. Speary; nephews, Adam J. Ratican, and Daniel Stupp-Ratican; nieces, Lara C. Prestipino and Adriene A. Ratican. Chris will be sadly missed by all.
